Terms of Service

These terms govern use of AlongWeGo at alongwego.com and its associated chatgpt.site address. By using the planner, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.
Accounts and group planning
You may explore the public example without signing in. Saving and sharing trips requires a Google or ChatGPT account and compliance with that provider’s account requirements. Keep your account secure and use accurate information. Only join groups you are authorized to access, and only invite people whose email addresses you are entitled to use for that purpose.
Trips are collaborative: members can change shared stops and schedules. Other members can see your name and stop preferences. The trip creator controls invitations. Access controls cannot prevent a group member from copying or sharing information outside the site.
Your content and acceptable use
You retain your rights in the content you provide. You permit AlongWeGo and its service providers to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the planner and share it with your group. Only submit information you have permission to share.
Do not attempt to access other groups’ trips, bypass access controls, misuse invitation links, interfere with the service, scrape restricted content, upload unlawful material, or use the service to harass or harm others. Access may be restricted to address abuse, security threats, or legal obligations.
Planning estimates and safe travel
AlongWeGo is a planning aid. Routes, driving times, visit durations, hours, ratings, prices, and availability may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Visit durations can be member estimates rather than measured averages. Confirm road conditions, venue hours, admission prices, accessibility, reservations, and time zones before travel. Allow time for traffic, rest, meals, and unexpected delays.
Use the planner only when it is safe to do so; do not interact with it while driving. You are responsible for travel decisions, obeying local laws, and any bookings or purchases made with third parties. AlongWeGo does not sell admission or make reservations on your behalf.
Google Maps and third-party services
The planner uses Google Maps. By using these features, you are also bound by the Google Terms of Service and the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service, incorporated here for those features. Google’s Privacy Policy applies to its handling of information. Preserve Google and contributor attribution and respect restrictions on copying or reusing their content.
Google sign-in is provided by Google, and ChatGPT sign-in is provided by OpenAI. Venue websites and other linked services have their own terms. A listing, rating, or link does not mean AlongWeGo endorses or guarantees a venue or service.
Fees and promotion
AlongWeGo currently charges no fee to use the planner. Travel expenses and third-party charges are your responsibility. Advertising, affiliate links, or paid attraction placements may be introduced and will be identified. Any future paid AlongWeGo features will disclose their prices and terms before you choose to purchase them.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation or error-free planning information. Features may change or become unavailable. Keep a separate copy of information essential to your travel.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, AlongWeGo disclaims implied warranties and is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the planner or reliance on third-party information. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
